I usually don't take landscape photos, but this morning the moon was still up at 7:30 a.m. when I was visiting St. Timothy's. I took three shots and this was the best. The first is the original and the second is after some work in Photoshop. Any comments?
He must have been having fun because he has mud on his legs. This happened before it turned slightly colder outside.
These are a few photos from my travels today. Question: What's the structure in the first photo used for?
The first photo looks like he was posing. We all know he doesn't sit still for that long. It was just plain luck. The second was taken using spot metering. I metered the light from the side nearer the window and that changed the exposure enough for the second image.

We've received some complaints that the blog hasn't been updated enough recently. Well, unfortunately, our camera's broke. For the last few family events we've had to shoot film *gasp* rather than the slick digital images that we've come to enjoy. So, until we get our camera fixed, the updates will be choppy at best. In other news, the entire family has been sick recently. First it was Annette who caught the bug. To use her words, "I was sick before being sick was cool." Then, Christopher had an unfortunate episode with the same illness followed by Adam. For the most part we're all healthy again.
