Where is?

Every so often, we play a fun game at our house called, "Where is Christopher?" This particular evening was no different... to be continued

Pajamas with shoes?

Christopher went to bed with his shoes off. When we went in to check on him later, we discovered that he had put his shoes back on. Being the parents we are, we took a picture before taking his shoes off again.

Thanksgiving Photos

After a great dinner with the family from out-of-town, we played a game of charades. Lets just say some were better than others. We were divided up - boys vs. girls. The losers had to do the Chicken Dance for the winners. Later we pulled out a box of photos and started sorting through them.

Stinkpots

Forgot to post this after we visited the Newport Aquarium. The sign says hatchling stinkpots are less than one inch long. We have several stinkpots at our house in case you're interested in seeing one a natural habitat.

Pops' Birthday

We thought these were some good photos from Pops' Birthday. Tim called during the Texas Hold 'Em Game played on the Nintendo DS, but we got back around to playing it again later in the evening after the babes had gone to bed.

Scoot away from the camera

In this video, Clara is clearly suspicious of the camera. She's a quick one for being so young.

Another movie

At Camp Gray, Christopher was chasing around a black balloon all weekend long. In this short video, you will see him chasing it, and then reaching back to pick up his drooping drawers.

I'm working on the video for this year and came across this gem. Clara and Christopher are in Wisconsin currently with their Uncle Jeff and Aunt Rebeca. Here's a photo I discovered last night.

Halloween

This a photo of the kids in their costumes from Wednesday night. Christopher went as a pirate and Clara as a bumble bee.

Visit to Hospital

We got a new camera today. We cut this raw video today while visiting Granny in the hospital. Christopher and Grandpops were investigating the "Green Cave."

Changes

Well, we've had some changes around the house lately. For one, Clara is starting to get up on her knees. It won't be long before she's crawling, and then walking. As you'll see below, Christopher is also going through some changes of his own. Yesterday he got glasses for the first time. It's going to be a tough couple of days for all of us, but these changes are necessary for his vision.

Dairy Trip

Earlier in October, Christopher and Clara traveled to Yellow Springs, Ohio to visit Young's Jersey Dairy Farm. Granny took them while she was on fall break. Below are some photos from their adventures.

California or bust

Sorry we've been absent from the blogosphere recently. There's no excuse for it so we'll try to make up with some recent photos and words about life in the Adam and Annette family.

First, a shout out to those of you looking at this blog for the first time from California. Tim - best of luck as you adjust to life with a daily regiment of physical training. Just don't forget to wear deodorant. For those of you not familiar with the latest, on Wednesday morning Tim will be flying to California to begin his "tour of duty" with Americorps. He'll spend the first month in California and then go who knows where. Below is a photo from Tuesday night.

Thomas the Train

On Saturday, the family traveled North to Lebanon. Granny & Grandpops bought tickets for Christopher to ride with them on Thomas the Train. As they were pulling out of the station, Christopher pulled out his lower lip. We think he would prefer Thomas to stick to balloons, toys and videos rather than a real, live train. He wasn't too sure about all the noises and the rocking. But, all returned with smiles after the 30 minute ride.

Mobile!

Our little girl is officially mobile. She is busy perfecting her 'low crawl' and exploring new places with her new found independence. She especially likes to go 'under'... under anywhere she can roll or scoot. Her brother is a willing partner in most all these adventures.

Faces

Gone Fishin'

Todd and I took Christopher fishing this weekend. Unfortunately, we didn't catch any fish. However, Todd did catch a turtle and I caught a frog. Photos are below.

Newport Aquarium

Went to Newport Aquarium last night with Katie and Paul. We had a great time looking at all the underwater creatures. The highlight of the trip, hands down, was touching the sharks.

They had a section of the aquarium where you could buy nectar and feed some very colorful birds. Christopher wasn't as sure about it as Adam was... especially when they landed on Adam's head.

New Baby

There was a new baby born in the family recently. Here are some photos for your enjoyment. This little guy was born without a name at 5:07 a.m. on 8/17/07. He weighed 7 lbs 4 oz at birth. Everyone is doing well.

Haircut

Alas, Christopher got his haircut today. It was an emotional experience we weren't prepared for - but then again, they say part of parenting is going through many experiences like this.

Water water everywhere!

Here are some quick photos for you bloggers out there. The rugrat and I got into a water contest. As you can see, we both eventually got wet. It was so stinkin' hot the only way to remain outdoors was to be drenched. Fortunately neither of us minded too much.
